PileAXL 2014 is a program that analyzes the behaviour of single piles under axial loading applied at the pile head (compression or tension). Both bored piles and driven piles can be analysed by the program including offshore piles (such as API Method, ICP Method, Fugro Method and UWA Method). The program computes the ultimate and factored pile capacities for a range of pile lengths together with the short-term pile settlement curve for a specific pile length based on t-z curves and q-w curve. The Rational Beta Method as recommended by Kulhawy and Chen (2007) is included in the program for unit side resistance calculation of cohesionless soils for bored piles or drilled shafts.
